The Bugatti - De Monge 100P Record Plane

The Bugatti is one of the most interesting airplanes ever built, because of its many technological innovations, and certainly is the most beautiful one. The story behind its creators is equally interesting. Ettore Bugatti is of course well known and many books have been written about him, though none have been published. About Louis de Monge nothing has been published yet, though he designed and built a range of interesting airplanes, with his 1921 race plane crashing after reaching an unofficial speed record.
